Who this is for: Managers | Dependency: Jobs created in PriceRight Pro; Crew Mode set up
๐ Why this matters
Crew members only see job details โ address, schedule, tasks, notes, photos โ if you publish the job to the portal first. Publishing is what connects your jobs to your crew’s web portal. Until you publish, crew members see nothing when they open their portal link.
Open the Jobs tab #
Open Crew Mode from the home screen and tap the Jobs tab (the briefcase icon). The tab shows your active and won jobs. If no jobs exist yet, it shows “No Active Jobs โ Active and won jobs appear here for crew assignment.” Create a job first, then come back.
Reading the job list #
Each job row shows the job name, client name, and scheduled start date. On the right side of each row, two status indicators tell you what’s been done:
- Published (green checkmark) โ the job has been pushed to the crew portal and is visible to assigned crew members
- Not published (grey circle) โ the job hasn’t been pushed yet; crew members can’t see it
- N crew (teal) โ shown when crew members have been assigned to the job
Pull down on the list to refresh and load the latest jobs.
Publish a job and assign crew #
Tap any job row to open the crew management sheet for that job โ titled “Crew for [job name].” From here you can assign crew members to the job, set what details they can see, and publish the job to the portal. Once published, the badge on the job row updates from “Not published” to “Published” and assigned crew members see the job in their portal the next time they open their link.
Tap Done to close the sheet and return to the job list.
Generate a QR code for the job site #
Each job row has a small QR code icon (teal) on the right. Tap it to generate a QR code for that job. The Job QR Code sheet opens and displays the code.
The sheet includes the instruction: “Print this and post it at the job site.” Crew members on site can scan the QR code with their phone camera to open the job directly in their portal โ no searching through a list. Tap Share QR Code to send the image to a printer, AirDrop it to a laptop, or save it to Files.
Republish after changes #
If you update job details โ the address changes, the schedule shifts, new tasks are added โ you need to republish the job so crew members see the latest version. Open the crew sheet for the job and republish.
From a crew member’s detail sheet in the Crew tab, you can also tap Sync All in their Assigned Jobs section to republish every job assigned to that crew member at once โ useful when multiple jobs have changed.
