No app needed. The crew web portal works in any browser โ Chrome, Safari, Firefox โ on Android phones, iPhones, tablets, or computers. You don’t need to download anything.
Step 1 โ Open your link #
Your manager will send you a link. It looks like this:

Tap the link to open it in your browser. That’s it โ the link is your login. You don’t need a password or PIN.
Bookmark it. Add this link to your browser’s bookmarks or home screen right now. You’ll use it every day. Your manager only needs to send it once โ the link doesn’t expire unless they revoke it.
Step 2 โ Find your job #
When the portal opens, you’ll see the jobs your manager has assigned to you. Tap the job you’re working on today to open the job details.
The job page shows everything your manager has shared with you โ the job address, scheduled date, notes for your crew, tasks to complete, and any photos or materials lists. What you can see depends on the permissions your manager set for your link.
Step 3 โ Clock in #
On the job page, tap Clock In. The portal records your clock-in time. If your manager has GPS enabled for your link, your browser will ask for location permission โ tap Allow. Your location at clock-in is logged so your manager knows you’re on site.
Once you’re clocked in, the page updates to show your active shift โ the time you clocked in and a running timer. Leave this page or close the browser โ it won’t clock you out. Your shift stays open until you come back and clock out.
Step 4 โ Clock out #
When you’re done for the day, open your portal link and go back to the job. Tap Clock Out. The portal records your clock-out time and calculates your hours for the shift. Your timesheet updates automatically โ your manager can see the hours right away.
If you clocked in or out at the wrong time #
Mistakes happen. If your clock-in or clock-out time is wrong, you can submit a correction request from the portal. Find the shift entry in your hours history, tap to open it, and submit a request with the correct time and a short note explaining what happened. Your manager will review and approve or deny the correction.
Other things you can do in the portal #
Depending on what your manager has enabled for your link, the portal may also let you:
- Check off tasks as you complete them
- Upload job site photos (before and after)
- Add notes to the job
- View the shot list (for video and photography jobs)
- See client contact information and emergency contacts
If you don’t see one of these options, your manager hasn’t enabled it for your link. Ask them if you need access to something that isn’t showing.
Common questions #
- I closed the browser โ am I still clocked in? Yes. Closing the browser or your phone doesn’t clock you out. Come back to the portal and clock out when you’re done
- My link isn’t working. Contact your manager. They may need to check your link or resend it
- I don’t see my job. Your manager needs to publish the job to the portal before it appears. Contact them if you’re expecting to see a job that isn’t showing
- Can I use this on my iPhone? Yes โ the portal works on any phone or tablet browser, including iOS Safari
