Your data is not deleted when you cancel #
Canceling your PriceRight Pro subscription does not delete your data. All jobs, clients, estimates, invoices, expenses, mileage logs, crew records, and field worker history remain in your account. Data is stored in your private iCloud database and locally on your device — canceling your plan does not remove it from either place.
What changes when you cancel is your access to Premium features. If you were on a paid plan, you’ll be downgraded to the Standard tier at the end of your current billing period. You can still open and read all your existing data. Features gated to your previous plan tier will no longer be accessible until you re-subscribe.
What about extra company slots? #
If you purchased additional company slots as separate in-app subscriptions, each slot has its own subscription. When an extra slot subscription expires or is canceled, that slot is marked as expired. The data in that company profile is not deleted — it becomes inaccessible until the slot is reactivated. What if I delete the app? #
Deleting the app from your device removes local data but does not remove data from iCloud. If you reinstall PriceRight Pro and sign into the same Apple ID, your iCloud data will sync back to the app. Local-only data (anything not synced to iCloud) would be lost on deletion — this is why regular backups matter regardless of subscription status.
Best practice before canceling #
Before canceling any subscription, export a backup of each company in your account. The backup includes all your records — jobs, clients, invoices, expenses, crew, field connections, signed contracts, and receipt images — in a single encrypted .prbackup file. You can restore from this file at any time, even years later, if you return to PriceRight Pro.
