Who this is for: Managers | Plan: One primary company is included on all plans; additional companies require a Premium slot add-on
How company profiles work #
PriceRight Pro runs one company at a time — the active company — and everything you see, every job, estimate, invoice, expense, crew member, and field worker, belongs exclusively to that company. Switching companies is instant: every screen and every record updates to reflect the newly active company. The two businesses never mix.
Your primary company slot is included with any plan. Additional company slots (up to 5 total) are available as monthly or annual add-ons through the App Store.
Add a new company #
Open the company switcher from the home screen — tap your company name or the switcher icon at the top of the app. The company management sheet opens, listing your active companies. Tap the add button to create a new company. The setup form asks for a company name, industry preset, and logo. Your plan and active modules for the new company can be configured from Settings after setup.
When you add a company beyond your primary slot, you’ll be prompted to purchase an extra slot subscription. Each slot is billed monthly or annually through your Apple ID. You can add up to 4 extra slots (5 companies total).
Switch between companies #
Tap the company switcher at the top of the home screen. All your active companies are listed. Tap any company to make it active. The app switches immediately — you’re now working in that company’s data context. Your other companies are untouched in the background.
Rename a company #
In the company switcher, swipe a company row or use the row action to rename it. The change takes effect immediately across the app — estimates, invoices, PDFs, and exports will all reflect the updated name for new documents. Existing exported PDFs are not retroactively updated.
Archive a company #
If you wind down a business but want to preserve its records, archive the company instead of deleting it. Archiving hides the company from the switcher but keeps all its data intact. You can restore an archived company at any time from the company management sheet. Archived companies appear in a separate section of the switcher.
Delete a company #
⚠️ Irreversible: Deleting a company permanently removes all its data — jobs, clients, estimates, invoices, expenses, crew records, field workers, signed contracts, and receipt images. This cannot be undone. Export a backup before proceeding.
To delete a company, open the company switcher, tap the row action for the company, and choose Delete. You’ll be asked to confirm. Before deleting, make sure you’ve exported a .prbackup file from Settings → Backup & Restore. The backup can be restored as a new company at any time if you change your mind later.
Deleting a company does not automatically cancel its extra slot subscription — manage that separately in your App Store subscriptions if you no longer need the slot.
Data isolation #
Every record in PriceRight Pro — every job, client, invoice, expense, crew member, and field worker — is tagged with the company it belongs to. When you switch companies, every query, every list, and every calculation automatically filters to the active company. There is no way for data from one company to appear in another through normal app use.
Your PriceRight Pro subscription plan and settings (plan tier, App Lock, iRS mileage rate) apply globally across all companies. Company-specific data (pricing, verticals, crew, field workers, branding, tax settings) is per-company.
