๐ฑ In Your Day
Real-world moments where PriceRight Pro does the work for you. This is a scenario walkthrough โ not a setup guide. For the full guide, see Scan and Categorize Receipts with AI Receipt Scanner โ
The moment #
You just left the hardware store. You bought two rolls of tape, a replacement blade, and a few connectors you needed on-site. The receipt is sitting on the passenger seat. You know you should log it. You also know that if you don’t do it now, the receipt is going in the center console and staying there until it’s too crumpled to read.
Pull over before you hit the road. This takes about 30 seconds.
What happens #
Open PriceRight Pro. Add a new expense. In the Receipt Photos section, tap Scan Receipt (AI). Hold your phone over the receipt โ the camera reads it, PriceRight AI extracts the vendor, date, amount, and category. The expense form fills itself in.
You look it over. Vendor looks right. Amount matches. Category landed on Materials โ correct. Tap Save.
The receipt image is now stored in iCloud alongside the expense record. The expense rolls into your job cost, your expense breakdown in Business Pulse, and your year-end deductions โ automatically. The paper receipt can go in the trash.
Why it matters at tax time #
The IRS requires documentation for every business expense deduction. A scanned receipt โ date, vendor, amount, purpose โ is documentation. The shoebox full of crumpled receipts you sort through in April is not a system. This is.
Every supply run receipt you scan this year is one less thing you’re piecing together from memory at tax time. They add up.
