Open the Live tab #
Open Crew Mode from the home screen and tap the Live tab (the antenna icon). The Live tab shows a real-time picture of who’s on the clock right now, who finished today, and who’s assigned but hasn’t started.
The tab auto-refreshes every 30 seconds in the background — you don’t need to do anything to keep it current. To force an immediate update, tap the refresh icon in the top-right toolbar, or pull down on the screen. While loading you’ll see “Checking who’s on site…”
ON SITE NOW #
The ON SITE NOW section shows everyone currently clocked in. Each card displays:
- Name and a pill label — Field Sales (orange) for sales reps and estimators in Field Mode, or Crew (teal) for job site workers using the crew portal
- Job name — which job they clocked in to, or “No specific job” if they clocked in without selecting one
- Live timer — how long they’ve been on the clock, displayed in green and updating every minute (for example: “2h 14m”)
- Location — the GPS address recorded at clock-in, shown with a pin icon. If coordinates are available, a Map button appears on the right — tap it to see their clock-in location on a map
Field Sales cards have an orange background tint; Crew cards have a green tint — so you can tell at a glance which type of worker each person is.
CLOCKED OUT TODAY #
Below the on-site section, CLOCKED OUT TODAY lists everyone who worked and clocked out during the current day. A checkmark icon confirms they completed their shift. This section is hidden when nobody has clocked out yet today.
ASSIGNED — NOT STARTED #
ASSIGNED — NOT STARTED shows crew members who have been assigned to a job today but haven’t clocked in yet. An orange clock icon marks each row. Use this section to spot crew who may be running late or haven’t seen the job details yet.
Map view #
Tap Map on any ON SITE NOW card to open the map sheet. The map centers on that crew member’s clock-in location with a pin showing their initials. The sheet title shows their name: “[Name] — Clock-In Location.” Tap Done to close.
If a crew member clocked in without GPS enabled or the location wasn’t captured, the map button doesn’t appear on their card. The map sheet shows “No location data available” in those cases.
Empty state and errors #
When nobody is on the clock, the Live tab shows: “No crew on site right now — Pull to refresh or check back when your crew clocks in.”
If a refresh fails due to a connection or authentication issue, a red error message appears above the empty state. Check your connection and pull to refresh again.
